Our Staff

Janie McElwee-Smith was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she attended both Wake Forest University and Vanderbilt University. She has served churches in Missouri, Tennessee, South Carolina, southern Louisiana, and Pennsylvania before moving to Texas.

She is a parent to twin boys, Lucien and Arthur, and she is a bonus mom to grown twins, Taylor and Caitlin. She is also mama to two fur-children: Amber & MacGregor; and fur-grandmommy to Remi. She enjoys cooking, movies, travel, board games, and loves laughing as much as possible.

Brandy started at GPC in 2014 as our administrator, overseeing our office needs, including design, bookkeeping, reception, and more. An El Paso native, Brandy is married to Denny and they have two kids. When not at Grace, Brandy loves to garden, host parties, and spend time with her family.
